Description
Established in 1984 our principle role has been the supply of top quality
Fencing, Decking, Gates and now garden buildings. The majority of our
products are manufactured in our own workshops and kept in stock ready
for immediate delivery. Our products can be viewed at any of our four
sales sites or through our on line shop.
We have recently launched a web site dedicated to displaying our full range of Log Cabins online. The Log Cabin Store is packed with information about our full range of 28mm, 44mm and 70mm Log cabins as well as detailed floor plans, how to arrange for a custom built log cabin, as well our new range of Infrared saunas.
You can also find a page dedicated to offering instructions on how to build and fit your log cabin.
You can visit one of our Display Sites for a closer look at our log cabin range or call the number displayed for further information. Log Cabins are a relatively new addition to the traditional English
Garden. In previous years, we had always viewed garden buildings to be
used mainly as garden sheds or a small occasional use Summer House.
However, the traditional summer houses have never had the insulation
properties to enable them to be used all year. As a nation we want to
spend more and more time in our gardens whether it is for entertaining
guests, or just relaxing quietly away from our busy lives. By the very
nature of their construction, log cabins are offering us an affordable
way of getting away from the house and into the garden.
Log cabins are not constructed by attaching a cladding onto a
framework, they are actual thick pieces of timber shaped as a Tongue
and Grooved profile and then jointed on the ends. As you can imagine,
the thicker the log profile, the more insulated the cabin will be. As
well as summer houses a very popular use for log cabins is as Garden
Offices. With the increased availability of broadband, people have more
opportunity to work from home and still maintain the excellent
communication skills needed in the work place.
As a
company we work very closely with our suppliers (see images below). We
have two main suppliers of log cabins, one in Estonia and one in
Lithuania. We personally visit both companies regularly which helps us
to maintain a top quality product and good availability. Both companies
purchase timber from sustainable resources within managed forests.
