Description Durham Timber Products is a small family run business operated by father & son Graham and Darren Jones and staff from our premises on the outskirts of Durham City. Established in 1987 we specialise in supplying and fitting a large range of quality timber buildings of any size or specification, to the general public, local authorities, local house builders and associations. We find that most of our customers are unimpressed with the products available at local D.I.Y superstores and garden centres and prefer to deal with an established local company that can supply quality buildings to their exact requirements. We also offer a complete base preparation service and can quote for taking away existing buildings and clearing the site. Our main area of operation is within a 25 mile radius of Durham City, but we will be pleased to quote for larger orders further a field. Quality Counts All of our products are built to the highest standards using well proven materials to give many years of use. All claddings are T&G redwood (not inferior whitewood). All nails, screws, hinges and door furniture are galvanised or zinc coated for longer life. All roofs are felted with 20kg mineral felt and larger roofs are lathed over. We recommend regular treatment of all buildings with a good quality wood preserver. Guaranteed Satisfaction But please be aware that wood is a natural product and as such is liable to shrinkage and movement, especially in adverse weather conditions.
